2012 AP European History Audio Learn (Audible Audio Edition) AudioLearn Editors AudioLearn Voice Over Team AudioLearn Books
This book is definitely the best review book I've used for any of the eleven AP exams I've taken. It does a great job of presenting the key details of European History in a very clear and concise matter and it avoids the all too common mistake of turning a review book into a second textbook.Everything in this book is outlined instead of thrown into paragraphs, which makes reading and comprehension a lot faster. Furthermore, the book leaves out non-essential details of European History. When dates or events aren't necessary, they aren't provided. The book is based on a close study of all released multiple choice questions from the AP exam so that it can cover each topic with the right amount of depth. This means that the book can be in large print on small pages and still be thinner than any other AP prep book I've seen, all without losing its usefulness.
Another key benefit of this book is that the content is really readable. It doesn't contain jokes or anything like that, but the prose is very conversational and easy to read. With most books I find myself reading some sentences multiple times to really understand them, but I never had to do that with this book. I was able to quickly read each page and understand the material on the first try.
This book also does a great job presenting relevant resources beyond a play-by-play account of the history. It includes little tips that explain which aspects of an event to study or warn that a particular event shows up on the exam more than others. In addition, it provides a really helpful list of key terms and several important comparisons of figures and eras that commonly appear on the exam.
It may seem too good to be true, but this review book really does contain all the content you need to get a 5 on the AP European History Exam. Taking four hours to read this the night before was the best decision I could have made to improve my score on the exam. I wouldn't have gotten a 5 without this book! Highly recommended!

2012 AP European History Audio Learn (Audible Audio Edition) AudioLearn Editors AudioLearn Voice Over Team AudioLearn Books Reviews
Awesome review book, it definitely helped me get a 5 on the Euro exam. I found it helpful as a supplement for in-class tests (I used flashcards and class notes too because the Crash Course only really covers the AP exam, and, as such, is not specific enough for class tests). You cannot go wrong with this book!!
Gives a great summary of everything on AP Euro exam! AMAZING for new AP Exam (2016 onward) in which details are not as important as the overall ideas. Best review guide out there for people who don't want to read hundreds of pages of detailed comprehensive review. Know everything in this - you will do great! I got a 5 by studying with this book! Very organized in its layout and overall just fantastic! Great price too!
Buy this book and you will not regret it. As someone whose teacher was not as competent as I would have liked, and someone who does not in particular enjoy history, this book was my savior. It's simple, it's to the point, and it does exactly what you need it to. If you read through this entire book and thoroughly understand the material, you'll have enough to earn a 4 easily, and a 5 if you really dedicate yourself. I got started on this book a week before the test, having used it as a reference as I needed it throughout the school year. The outline format of this book organizes the information by how it is usually expected to be grouped on test, and for most of the essays you can expect to get on the test, the answers will be outlined in here. There's no fluff, only what you need, which really cuts down the time you need to spend on this and brain space you need to allot, a priceless thing given the busy nature of a high schooler's life.
With barely any other prep outside of this book, I was able to reach my target score, and I am confident there are many others who can benefit from this book as well.
I got my hands on this book well in advance before the 2013 AP Euro. test, and OMG, it has been a godsend. I didn't do much at home nor in class nor in my studies for anything AP Euro. in preparation for the AP test sooo when I did finally decided to study (I literally had barely any idea what was going on in class that entire year LOL; i knew next to nothing about AP Euro), I woke up 6 in the morning, had a quick breakfast, and literally sat down on my bed and read around 1/2 the book as well as the latter sections for 4 hours straight on the day of the exam. I went into the testing room feeling really really nervous since I put barely effort into studying, but when I started the FRQ's/DBQ's, I started to have a deja vu on everything i read from the book!!! I felt super confident and this book has helped me sosososososo much!! I managed to pull off a 4 ^_^" with just 4 hours of prep total from this book! (and I only read 1/2 of it!!) Get it!! )
This book is just amazing. Let me explain. After taking several practice tests, I realized that this book went over ALL the topics that are covered in the multiple choice section. It doesn't bombard you with unnecessary details but also doesn't skip over important information. Each chapter is concise but so informative. You don't feel bogged down with tons of information because each chapter is only several pages long. You can finish the book in a day if you wanted to. Plus, this book gives you "test tips" that tell you what kind of questions to expect with certain topics. This book is helpful not only for the AP test but for in class tests as well.
I would recommend pairing this book with the Princeton Review book. I went through all of those two books cover to cover and got a 5 on the AP Test! The Princeton Review book is lengthy and at times boring, but is a great supplementary aid.
I am soooo glad I found this book because it truly helped me so much. Best review book for sure.
